An NDI system is more than connecting cameras with Ethernet. Switch capacity, PoE budget, topology, multicast configuration, and the total number of video sources all need to be assessed.
NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX3 solve different needs. The former prioritizes very low latency and high quality with more bandwidth, while HX3 can scale more efficiently when network capacity is tighter.
Before ordering equipment, map the complete signal path — from cameras and control through mixing, recording, and destination screens.
